ABOUT ME

Hey, I’m Xander.

I’m a 15-year-old photographer from Irvine, California. I was born and raised in Southern California, surrounded by the busy streets and city life of Los Angeles. After spending over eight years there, I moved to Irvine, about an hour away from LA. The change in landscape was huge — from crowded city streets and buildings to quiet suburban neighborhoods nestled in the hills, with wildlife and open space all around.

This shift gave me a new perspective on life and sparked my love for photography. Being out in nature — watching sunlight hit the mountains, the vibrant colors of wildflowers, fog rolling over hills, or the quiet trails — showed me a side of the world you don’t really get to see in the city. I still remember grabbing my phone on hikes just to capture those moments. Photography became a way for me to hold onto and share the beauty I find when I’m exploring.

I love shooting landscapes, cityscapes, mountains, and plants — basically anything that shows off the way I see things through my eyes.

Hiking has become a huge part of my journey. The mountains inspire me to chase summits, document my experiences, and appreciate the beauty on the trails. One of my biggest goals is to climb peaks like Mount Whitney or Mount Rainier someday.

I hope my art can inspire you the way nature and photography inspire me.

The Mission

Photography isn’t just about taking pictures—it’s about capturing moments that tell a story. My mission is to create images that make you feel something, whether it’s the peace of standing on a quiet mountain ridge, the excitement of an adventure, or the beauty in everyday life.

I want my work to inspire people to explore the world around them, to slow down, and to notice the details that often go unseen. Every photo I take is a piece of my journey, and my goal is to share those moments in a way that connects with others.
